I officially hate Adsense

Adsense has ticked me off as of late. It’s touted as the best way for website owners to make money. But let’s face it Adsense can suck if you have a small site.
I’m sure you’ve seen all the adsense ads, ebooks, websites and videos that tout the power of adsense’s revenue making ability. Well that’s all a big bunch of crap. Adsense if you’re lucky might make you a few bucks a week. And if you are totally clueless as to what you are doing with adsense. Well expect to be making a few cents a week, tops.
I’ve read the articles, read the ebooks, visited adsense forums and watched the boring ass videos. And I’ve come to the conclusion that the only people making any real money from adsense are the guys that have marketing degrees. They show you their adsense account earnings with thousands of dollars a day in earnings. And tell you how their system is going to make you 3 grand a month in profit. But in reality the only reason they are making money with adsense. Is by selling you some outdated method of making money from adsense that was hot 2 years ago.
I’m pretty sick and tired of all the 50 foot tall marketting pages with content that bores you to death. This content does nothing more than dazzle you with marketting bullcrap. In fact I suspect that the pages are developed to do nothing more than hypnotize you into buying their product. I guess a sucker is born every minute. Including myself because I’ve been tempted on more than one occassion to actually buy their product. Of course I’ve always stopped myself at the last minute. But I’ve been tempted.
Like Barnum said, “There’s a sucker born every minute.” And all these guys are doing is taking advantage of the little guys that want to make money. Maybe they should call it “Making money with adsense via sucker proxy.” I don’t know.
Anyways, like anything, there are actually some success stories out there of people profitting with adsense for real. Of course, let’s face it, like all ways of making money on the net. The key to profit is traffic. If you don’t have a massive amount of eyeballs viewing your page. You won’t make any money at all. And that’s how I’m doing right now. Not enough eyeballs clicking adsense ads to make me any money. poop.
